Payment of Water and Sewer BillsYou have several options for paying your water bills. You can mail a check to the Village; drop by the Village and pay at the front desk with cash, check or credit card; drop your payment in the special drop box in the Village Complex parking lot; or pay online. Water and Sewer Services Information
The following costs are associated with the Village of Bosque Farms for new Water and Sewer Service:
Size of Meter - Connection Fee
3/4 " Meter - $1,000.00 (standard meter size used in the Village)
1 " Meter - $1,085.00
1 1/2 " Meter - $1,740.00
2 " Meter - $2,040.00
The water connection fee includes service line from the tap in the distribution line to the property line of the consumer up to 75 feet, meter box and miscellaneous fittings, and valves to install meter in meter box. There is an additional $25.00 refundable deposit for the water meter. The cost for water service from the Village of Bosque Farms using a 3/4" meter will be a minimum cost of $1,025.00.
If the property was previously served by an existing well, the property shall divert the required water rights to the Village. The required water rights are computed on estimated usage based on the number of occupants of the household. If domestic water rights cannot be diverted, the property owner will be required to purchase the necessary water rights at a minimum cost of $800.00.
The Village Water System is for domestic use only. All outside property use will require a private well.
Residential meter with a usage of less than 5,000 gallons per month will be a minimum charge of $20.81 per month.
Water usage between 5,001 and 7,000 gallons will be an additional $3.00 per thousand gallons.
Water usage of 7,001 gallons or more will be an additional $4.00 per thousand gallons.
July 1 of each year, the minimum monthly charge contained in this chapter shall be adjusted automatically to reflect a 2% cost of living increase.
Sewer Service
Residential fee for a Single Grinder Pumping Unit as per current market value at the time the application is submitted plus current market value per foot of pressure line over 200’. (Rev. 07/10)
Double Grinder Pumping Unit as per market value at the time application is submitted. (Rev. 01/05).
If a property is on Village water, the sewer use fee with a usage of less than 5,000 gallons per month will be a minimum charge of $20.81 per month.
Water usage between 5,001 and 7,000 gallons will be an additional $3.00 per thousand gallons.
Water usage of 7,001 gallons or more will be an additional $4.00 per thousand gallons.
July 1 of each year, the minimum monthly charge contained in this chapter shall be adjusted automatically to reflect a 2% cost of living increase.
If a property is connected to the sewer system only, a flat rate of $26.01 per month will be charged.
The billing for the monthly sewer use fees start when connection to the sewer system is made and/or 90 days from the time of installation of the grinder-pumping unit, whichever comes first.
